EMILY MAZULA, 95, Wilkes-Barre, died Sept. 13, 2006, in Hospice of Denver, Denver, Colo. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Dec. 7, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Josephine Leszczynski. She was educated in the Wilkes-Barre School District and was a seamstress employed in the local garment industry. Mrs. Mazula was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex in 1960 and daughter, Mary 2006. She is survived by a son, Joseph, Castlerock, Colo.; daughters Nancy Wilkins, Dallas; Theodosia Evans, Lake Havasee City, Ariz.; Teresa Pinzolo, Brick, N.J.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Leo P. Lehman Funeral Home with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m.
