OMAHA, Neb. — Fresno State’s improbable postseason run will end with the Bulldogs playing for a national championship.

Tommy Mendonca drove in four runs, Clayton Allison came back from a shoulder ailment to allow one run over six innings, and the Bulldogs defeated North Carolina 6-1 to win their bracket in the College World Series on Sunday night.
