MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Historical Society is working on a book, “Fairview High School Alumni 1901-1962.” They are looking for yearbooks from 1901-1929, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1939 and 1942. All resources will be scanned and returned immediately. If anyone has any of these books, or any relevant information or old photos, contact Joe Kubic at 678-3007.

SCRANTON: The University of Scranton College of Graduate and Continuing Education will host four information sessions for prospective graduate and adult students. The sessions will provide information regarding all admissions requirements and program descriptions.

A session for those seeking a master’s degree in business administration will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the fifth floor board room of Brennan Hall.

Two information sessions for prospective nursing students are scheduled for Wednesday. Adult undergraduate programs will be discussed from 6 to 7 p.m. in the first floor reading room of McGurrin Hall. Topics will include the LPN or RN to BSN programs and transferring credits. The graduate programs for nurses will be discussed from 7 to 8 p.m. in room 355 of McGurrin Hall.

An Adult Learner Day of Career Exploration is planned for 10 a.m. on Nov. 8 in room 102 of Hyland Hall. This will be a three-hour workshop.

A session for students seeking their master’s degree in counseling will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 10 in room 102 of Hyland Hall.
