Frances H. Paddick, 89, formerly of Hudson and Wilkes-Barre, died unexpectedly on Sunday in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after being stricken ill at her home in Wesley Village, Inkerman.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Lottie Panowicz Wielkopolski. She attended Plains Township Schools and was employed by Lazarus Department Store, Wilkes-Barre, until her retirement.
Frances was a former member of St. Joseph Church, Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Paddick Sr., on Dec. 3, 2005; and by a daughter, Barbara Watkins, on Feb. 5, 1998.
Surviving are sons, George M. Jr., Ventor, N.J.; David A., Orlando, Fla.; grandchildren, Scott Watkins D.M.D., Ryan Paddick, Esq., Kimberly Watkins; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Paddick, Isabella Paddick, Luke Paddick, Maddoc Watkins, Sadee Watkins; and a sister, Loretta Memmo, Philadelphia.
The funeral for Mrs. Paddock will be conducted Thursday from the Mark V. Yanaitis Funeral Home, 55 Stark St., Plains Township, with a blessing service at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Friends may call on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
