Sem students participate in programming competition

Nine Wyoming Seminary Upper School students competed in the annual Bloomsburg University High School Programming Contest. The students were required to solve a series of computer programming problems and were judged on accuracy and speed. There were 21 schools with 42 teams in the competition and Wyoming Seminary fielded three teams. Team one, including senior Joseph Patrick Brady, senior Ian McNeil, sophomore Timon Ruban, and junior Christian Ruckteschler, finished in seventh place Team two, including senior Sean Dickinson, senior Maria Fiske, and junior Martin Lofaj, finished in 15th place. Team three, including senior Jonas Weigert and senior Alex Wise, finished in 18th place. The overall Seminary team finished in sixth place. From left, first row: Ruckteschler and Ruban.
