Wyoming Area Catholic School holds eighth-grade graduation

Graduation ceremonies for the eighth-grade class of Wyoming Area Catholic School were held on June 5 at St. Cecilia’s Church, Exeter. The Rev. Joseph Verespy, pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont, was the main celebrant. The Rev. Michael Rafferty, retired priest of the Diocese of Scranton, was the homilist. Co-celebrants for the liturgy were Monsignor John Bendik, the Rev. Michael Piccola, and the Rev. Daniel Hitchko. Music ministry was provided by the choir of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont, and the Wyoming Area Catholic Student Choir, directed by Mary Ann Paddock-Kaminski and Karen Melvin. Joseph Sabol was the organist. Violinists were Lynn Hurst and Karen Zebrowski. Honor guards for the graduation were the members of Wyoming Area Catholic seventh grade. Altar Servers were Peter Kulick, Nicholas Anderson and Zachary Voitek.
