Gary T. McClintock, 57, of Scranton, passed away Thursday evening at the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.
Born in Scranton on June 7, 1951, he was a son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Gibbs McClintock. Gary was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Class of 1970.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a bus driver for COLTS for over 31 years. A passionate musician, he played and sang in various bands throughout his life.
He is survived by his children, Gary N. McClintock; of Kingston; Dorian D. McClintock, of San Francisco; and Alison F. McClintock and husband Branko Dimitrijevic, of Belgrade, Serbia; and Lee M. McClintock and wife Aubrey, of Old Forge; a brother, Kim McClintock, and wife Theresa, of Norristown; a sister, Karen Mason and husband Richard, of Toano, Va.; and three grandchildren, Shalyn M., Megan E. and Colin C. McClintock; and Thomas Monk of Scranton, a lifelong friend.
Services by the Rev. Scott G. Loomer, Pastor of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Scranton, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. Relatives and friends may pay their respects to the family on Saturday between 11 a.m. until the beginning of services. Private interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
