The American Red Cross of Lackawanna County will hold its 20th annual Dinner Auction on Saturday, April 25, at Genetti Manor in Dickson City. A silent auction and open bar will begin at 6 p.m. The chapter has been busy wrapping and marking donated items for the auction, said auction co-chair Lois Kearney. “We’ve received some wonderful items for the auction, like our romance package – flowers, chocolates, champagne, a king Jacuzzi room, and Sunday brunch for two,” she said. The event will help raise funds for life-saving services in Lackawanna County. For the first time in its history, the live auction will feature a celebrity auctioneer, WNEP-TV news reporter Ryan Leckey, to assist longtime auctioneer, Jeffrey Rubel. To attend or donate items for the auction, call Cindy Stenkoski at 207-0109.
