Mrs. Olga A. Cywinski, of North Sherman Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the Little Flower Manor Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born July 20, 1918, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Lazarus and Pauline Ochinko. Olga attended Wilkes-Barre City schools and was employed in the area garment industry for many years.
She was a member of Holy Resurrection Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Sr., in 1991; sons, Michael Jr. and Walter “Skip” Cywinski; sister, Sophie Schmid; brother, Peter Ochinko and an infant brother, Paul Ochinko.
Surviving are her son, Charles and his wife, Theresa, Swoyersville; grandchildren, Ryan and his wife, Linda; Scott, Tara, Amee; brother, Walter Ochinko, Connecticut; sister, Helen Gudaitis, Kingston.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with Requiem Services at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Resurrection Cathedral, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. Joseph Martin, pastor, will officiate. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hanover Township. Friends may call Sunday, from 5 to 8 p.m. Parastas will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
