Julianne Wolyniec and Curtis Brieling were united in marriage on July 4 at Misericordia University Chapel, Dallas, by the Rev. Michael Bryant.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wolyniec Jr., Plains Township. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wolyniec Sr., Plains Township, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Roxby.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James McHugh, Parsons. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Blakeslee; the late Mr. James McHugh; and Ruth McHugh.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and a 2007 graduate of Misericordia University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and special education. She is employed by the Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 as a special education teacher.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School. He is self-employed.
The bride was escorted by her parents. The bridal party included her maid of honor Amanda Andrews, Arizona, who was dressed in red. The bridesmaids were: Leslie Baxter, Virginia; Jennifer Wolfe, Kansas; Alicia Brieling, Parsons; Tyler Bonita, West Pittston; and Nicole Wert, California. The bridesmaids were dressed in blue. Flower girl Isabelle Kenny, Arrowhead Lakes, was dressed in red and white.
The best man was Jeffery Loftus, Wyoming, dressed in red. The groomsmen were: Justin Blakeslee, Bear Creek; Staff Sergeant Joseph Wolfe; Kansas; Aaron Burleigh, Kansas; Logan Ruschel, Pittsburgh; Airex Wert, California. The groomsmen were dressed in blue. Ring bearers Conner Brieling, Parsons, and Kyle Wolfe, Kansas, were dressed in red.
The couple honeymooned in Cape Cod, Mass. After the honeymoon, they relocated from Orange, Va. back to Plains Township.
