Wilbur Dickinson

Wilbur N. Dickinson, 83, of New Port Richey, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009.

Born September 27, 1926, in Mountain Top, he was a son the late Robert and Bertha Dickinson. Wilbur retired from Educational Testing Service, Princeton, N.J., in 1991 and moved to Florida in 1994.

Memberships include F & AM of LeRay Lodge 471 of LeRaysville, Pa.; Scottish Rite of Towanda; Williamsport Consistory of Williamsport; Victory No. 96 Chapter OES of Trenton, N.J.; NRA; VFW Post No. 7845 of Port Richey, Fla.; Faith United Methodist Church of Hudson, Fla.; and American Legion, Mountain Top.

Wilbur is predeceased, in addition to his parents, by a brother, Malcolm Dickinson, Rome, N.Y.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence; daughters Linda Dickinson, Mountain Top, and Doreen Dickinson, New Port Richey, Fla.; son Robert Dickinson, Browns Mills, N.J.; sister Ada Kresge, Mountain Top; as well as five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, on Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment will follow in Albert Cemetery, Mountain Top.
