Angeline G. Matreselva

Angeline G. Matreselva, 84, of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Highland Manor Nursing Care Center, Exeter.

Born in Dupont September 1, 1926, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret Pasquariello Gross.

She was formerly employed in the garment industry and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Muggsy) in 2009; brothers, Nicholas, Patrick and John; and sisters, Mary Poplawski and Ann Hilke.

Angeline is survived by son Paul Matreselva and his wife, Catherine, of Swoyersville; daughter Carol Truskowski and her husband, Daniel, of West Pittston; brother, Vincent Grossi of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sisters, Rose Siemon of Wilkes-Barre Township, and Margaret Grobinski of Mountain Top; grandchildren, Michael and Karen Truskowski, and Paul Matreselva; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from the Anthony Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, with the Rev. Joseph Sibilano, O.S.J., as celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
