Blue Devils, Vikes contribute to Coaches v. Cancer

Coaches vs. Cancer weekend was celebrated at both the girls’ and boys’ basketball games between Old Forge and Riverside on the weekend of January 28-29.

The Old Forge High School junior class accepted donations that were delivered to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in Cheltenham.

The Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their families a free, temporary place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows Hope Lodge guests to focus on the most important thing - getting well. Simply put, Hope Lodge is a place created to ease the burden of cancer treatment and a place where hope is given a home.
