Bishop’s Youth Award presented to WA Catholic students

On April 5, four eighth grade students from Wyoming Area Catholic School received the Bishop’s Youth Award at St. Peter’s Cathedral. Three students represented Wyoming Area Catholic and one student represented her parish, St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception in Wilkes-Barre. The award recognizes young people for their exemplary practice of faith and their genuine commitment to service in parishes and schools. This award is the highest recognition offered to Catholic Youth of the Diocese.

Spring Concert

Our Spring Concert will take place on Tuesday, May 10 in the school auditorium/gym beginning at 6:30 p.m. Our eighth grade will be honored and the drama club (Fifth through eighth grades) will perform the play “The Granny Awards.” Please come and join us.

May Crowning

Our traditional prayer service honoring Blessed Mother will take place on Friday, May 13 in St. Cecilia’s Church beginning at 1:00 p.m. The eighth grade students will lead us in prayer and also crown Mary, Mother of God.
